About the Bean
From a dizzying height of 2,200 MASL comes a distinguished single origin from Ethiopia’s celebrated Guji zone. Approximately 700 smallholders surrounding the kebele (village) of Layo Teraga delivered their best cherries to the local washing station, where they then underwent natural processing. The diverse combination of landrace and locally selected beans lend the cup a complex profile that we enhance with a light roast. The resulting brew is fruit-forward and aromatic, sporting notes of strawberry and sultana.
