Ethiopia, Buku Sayisa
About the Bean
Showcasing how sundry beans can produce a beautiful coffee is this special lot sourced from Buku Sayisa washing station in Ethiopia’s famous Guji zone. Named after the nearest kebele (village), Buku Sayisa works with 450 surrounding producers to create lots made from landrace and locally selected coffee varieties. In turn, this cup is a true reflection of the region, where mineral-rich and fertile soils help grow quality cherries that make for wonderfully balanced cup profiles. Upon brewing, this lot reads as floral, fruity and pleasantly tart.
