ABOUT THE BEAN
Fruity and sweet, with tropical mango, citrus acidity and vanilla. Finca Granja Paraíso 92, a small farm in Colombia, is known for their progressive approach to processing. Wilton Benitez is the mastermind behind this coffee. After harvesting the coffee, the cherries were sterilised with ozonated water and ultraviolet light. The next phase consisted of a 52-hour fermentation in an anaerobic bioreactor with the addition of yeast. The cherries were then pulped and fermented for an additional 42 hours. The final process is a yeast based, double anaerobic, thermo shock, and washed. Wilton’s scientific approach results in a truly unique Orange Bourbon coffee.
