ABOUT THE BEAN
Finca Cruz Loma is a 350 hectare farm located in Ecuador’s Pinchincha region and is owned and operated by Galo Fernando Morales. The 30,000 coffee trees are planted on only 8 hectares of the farm and are harvested in November. The cherries were picked at the optimum ripeness, depulped and fermented in water for 26 hours, washed and placed on raised African beds to dry for 20 days.
